Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter is an American actress, most famous in her character "Cordelia" Chase" on the popular teen drama "Buffy The Vampire Slayer' and the 'Angel' series. Although she was a trained ballerina and was professionally trained as a cheerleader Carpenter became an actor only through luck. Carpenter was discovered by an Los Angeles commercial agent as she worked as a waitress. Her rise quickly to be a cult character. After spending years as 'Cordelia,' Carpenter played short stints on teens' shows such as Miss Match, 'Charmed,' and 'Veronica Mars. Her reality television series called 'Investigation Discovery 'Surviving Evil' (originally titled 'I Survived Evil'), was a shock to many. Carpenter exposed her horrifying story of having been assaulted by a serial rapist serial after she reached the age of 21.
